    @HarboeDrinker Thats because the military training is functional strength gained. Closest thing to that bodybuilders usually get are lunges and unilateral movements. I think its funny to watch the meatheads max 480lbs but cant hang with me doing 100 push ups…lol. Hell they cant even do 20 pull ups.

    Incorperating compound freeweight movements along with cables and bodyweight movements help that strength become more usefull instead of just for show.

    Nice to finally get a serious comment. :)

    A friend of mine was following the the program on hundredpushups(dot)com (maybe you know it?) then I began to use it as well. It’s nice because it’s easy to modify if you want to go even higher.

    But it focuses alot on doing many sets, I’m not so much into that, I like the HST approach better.
